Inspired after the births of her own two children, Gretchen fulfilled her dream in 1998 to work in the childbirth profession by becoming an obstetrical nurse. Since then, she's worked with new families at major NYC hospitals, assisting them during the births of their babies and into the postpartum period. Certified as a childbirth educator in 1999, she has also enjoyed teaching childbirth preparation classes, both privately and in groups, and empowering expectant parents on their journey into parenthood.
