Schneider Children’s Hosp. Her special interests include
Pervasive Developmental Disorders, language issues including
deafness and Bipolar Disorder in children.

Dr. Maidenberg is President &
Clinical Director of Westchester Group Works. She received
her Masters degree in Social Work from NYU and her PhD. from
Yeshiva Univ. She has trained in marital & family therapy at
SUNY Health Science in Brooklyn. She is currently pursuing a
Masters in Public Health at Hunter College. Previously she
as clinical supervisor and clinician at the Larchmont
Mamaroneck Community Counseling Center, and an Asst
Professor at Iona College. She is a consultant for Fordham
Univ.’s Children’s First where she trains practitioners to
work with families.
Westchester Group Works is a Center for Group Therapy where
children, adolescents and adults can come to talk with each
other in a safe nurturing and confidential environment. The

Mark Sirkin, PhD

Mark Sirkin is a clinical psychologist, writer, speaker, consultant and executive coach. He has published in professional journals (including articles about hypnosis and guided imagery) and lectures to professional audiences on a range of topics from personality in the workplace to the use of story-telling and hypnotic language. Dr. Sirkin has been a faculty member at several major
New York institutions including New York University, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology, and the University of Rochester Medical Center. He divides his time between corporate consulting and working with individual clients.
His approach to hypnosis is based on the latest research, tapping the power of the brain to create new neural paths. Hypnosis is simply the use of focus, imagination, and relaxation to enable the mind to teach the brain and body new “mental maps.” Dr. Sirkin has the ability to adapt his methods to each individual thereby creating a more powerful and effective experience.
