HypnoBirthing®

HypnoBirthing® is a complete childbirth education course for you and your birth companion. This wonderful method has been around for more than twenty years and has resulted in tens of thousands of beautiful, calm births around the world. It is a deeply empowering course that will teach you the emotional and mental techniques for remaining calm and fully in control during your birthing. You will learn to thoroughly trust your body and your baby. You will learn the three fundamental deep breathing techniques and various self-hypnosis tools to bring yourself into a deep state of calmness and relaxation so that you can birth your baby with trust and ease. Most of all, you will become empowered parents and informed consumers within our nation’s complex birthing industry. From the first day of class, you’ll sense an immediate change taking place within you. Our birthing videos will reshape your perspective of childbirth when you see how joyfully and calmly women are birthing their babies using HypnoBirthing®.

International statistics based on last year’s birthing data reveal that over 99% of HypnoBirthing® moms report to being “very satisfied” with their HypnoBirthing® birth experience. Overall, their births were much faster and required significantly less medical intervention. Seventy-five percent of all HypnoBirthing® moms used no medical intervention whatsoever. Cynthia Overgard, your certified instructor, birthed her own baby using HypnoBirthing® at the Connecticut childbirth center in March of 2005. HypnoBirthing is a 12-hour course that is taught in 4 sessions.
