Challenge Karate

A Karate program adapted specifically for children with special needs.

Barry Mangione, a black belt in karate for over 20 years, has been teaching adapted karate to children with special needs in Westchester for over 12 years. He also has over 16 years of experience as a physical therapist working with children in Westchester. He designed Challenge Karate to meet the individual needs of very individual children. He approaches teaching karate to special special needs children with the understanding that not all children learn the same way, that respecting and understanding individual differences can facilitate better learning.
